An internal logistics and inventory system built to become a scalable SaaS product for multichannel sellers, eliminating stockouts and streamlining compliance.

E-commerce businesses often juggle multiple platforms—Amazon, eBay, Shopify—without a unified view of their inventory, sales, or stock forecasting. SnS Commerce GmbH approached us with a clear mission: build an internal logistics and inventory system that evolves into a scalable SaaS product for multichannel sellers. The goal was to eliminate missed sales due to stockouts, streamline compliance, and provide a central cockpit for online sellers to manage products, sales, and forecasts in real time.

Creating a robust multichannel inventory system presented key challenges:
We delivered a fully-functional MVP—under budget and on time—supporting full inventory control, real-time sales tracking, and intelligent restocking suggestions. As Team Lead, I assembled and guided a six-person development team and personally led backend development and forecasting logic using Django and Python.

Aggregates listings from Amazon, eBay, and Shopify, combining them into single "products" using SKU or EAN. It displays an intuitive product table with image, title, stock, sales, and days-to-reorder.
Imports historical sales and updates new orders in real-time, with CSV upload for B2B order support. Interactive dashboards show sales trends filtered by platform, region, and product.
Calculates "days left in stock" and triggers alerts when sales projections exceed the delivery buffer. The system adapts to real shipment delays to maintain forecast accuracy.
Tracks incoming stock with shipping IDs. As orders arrive, they update warehouse inventory and recalibrate forecasts, comparing expected vs. actual delivery to fine-tune future planning.
Alerts users via WhatsApp or Email for low stock, urgent reorders, or Amazon compliance events. A configurable rule engine allows for custom triggers.
A full multi-tenant system with secure email-based login, a 14-day free trial via Stripe integration, and a scalable backend architecture to support parallel user sessions.

If you're looking for scalable SaaS design, deep integration with complex APIs, or predictive tooling for real-world operations—this project is a proven case study of robust, end-to-end execution.
